WASHING

Before showering, gently brush through your extensions using a Wet Brush or extension safe brush to help prevent tangling and matting.

We recommend using extension safe shampoo and conditioner to help protect both your natural hair and extension color. Shampoo gently at the scalp and avoid aggressive scrubbing.

When brushing wet hair, always start at the ends and work your way upward toward the scalp. Hold the hair securely at the root while brushing to avoid unnecessary tension on the extensions.

STYLING

When blow drying, rough dry your hair about 80% of the way using only your hands or fingers. Avoid pulling on the extensions with a round brush while the hair is very wet.

Once the hair is mostly dry, you can use a round brush with light tension to smooth and polish the hair during the final stages of your blowout.

If curling your extensions, glide the curling iron over the extension hair once or twice before curling to smooth the cuticle and create a more polished, longer lasting finish.

Always use a heat protectant before hot tools to help maintain the integrity, softness, and longevity of your extension hair.

OTHER IMPORTANT CARE

If you notice excess tangling, slipping, or shedding, please contact your artist as soon as possible. Small adjustments are usually quick and easy when addressed early.

You can absolutely live a normal and active lifestyle with extensions, we simply recommend treating them with extra gentleness and care to keep them looking beautiful for as long as possible.
